IN2IT is a new drum'n'bass party that occurs every 1st and 3rd sundays of the month, starting in October, in San Francisco.
The show is hosted by residents DJs Munk, Robin Weber, Glyph and MC AX!OM.

No cover
The show starts at 7pm until 2am.

BSP: Electronic music lessons

Hey all, I'm not spamming, just trying to make ends meet ;) (hence the BSP)
I've been in and out of the rave scene here since '98 and realized I'm in a good position to contribute back to the scene in a slightly different way.
I know from experience that music production schools (I.E. Expressions) are WELL out of most enthusiasts price range. Of course I can't offer you a professional education but what I can offer comes from over 10 years of experience producing music electronically. I have a professional background writing pieces for videogames, tv spots, hell I've even done instrumental karaoke tracks! I have a mobile studio so I can come to you (if you're within reasonable distance)!

The cost per lesson varies according to your needs so don't let it get you down (It's also cheaper than most other lessons out there!). Here are just a few of the subjects I cover:

- Synthesis (learn the basics of subtractive, wavetable, additive, FM synthesis etc.)
- Sampling (if you really want to control your samples this is how)
- Sequencing (wtf is that piano roll good for anyhow...?!)
- MIDI (its not that scary, really!)
- Production (how to make yours sound better)
- VST and VSTi (I've got a boatload and I can give them to you and teach you how to use em!)
- EQ (you may hate it but its important damnit!)
- Mastering (ditto)
- FX (reverb, delay, distortion, modulation WOO7!!!)

Lovefest DnB float lineup

Come cheer the DnB float tomorrow at the Lovefest Parade !!

We've got a 50' trailer with 18,000 watts of sound and our we'll be at the 21st position out of 22 floats.

The parade starts at 12:00pm at 2nd and Mission. All of the floats will pull into the Civic Center and remain there until 8:00pm. Our float is the second to last one. We will be located in front of Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

seeking turntable tech

Ahoy,

Can anyone recommend a turntable technician ( besides Haight Ashbury GC or Guitar Center ). I've got a bummin 1200. It got tipped over while standing on edge in the road-case and now the tone-arm won't stay in the groove. It swings toward the spindle as soon as it is unlocked.

Any leads much appreciated.
